A new set begins: Live performance by Cunningham, Crigler & Hill (+Kinney)
A new set begins: According to the ensemble: "CC&H was assembled two years ago by Timothy Hill, Chris Cunningham and Jason Crigler to explore the creative possibilities of fusing three very distinct musical voices into one ensemble. As with many of the great bands of the 60's and 70's, the sublimation of these three strong personalities into a greater whole leads to an intense, unique alchemy. In addition to performing original works by each of the three members, CC&H is also an interpretive band par excellence, performing songs by Larry John McNally, Frank Tedesso, Jeff Buckley, and George Harrison....Each of us is busy completing solo recording projects as well as preparing what will ultimately become the first full length CC&H album." Cunningham, Crigler & Hill played a few tunes from their new album, "Too Big for the Business," and previewed some of their solo efforts. For this performance they were joined by Michelle Kinney on cello.

A new set begins: As for what everybody's been up to-- Timothy Hill says: "Ms. Kinney, along with Mr. Cunningham, graces Richie Havens' well received new album. Mr. Crigler accompanied Linda Thompson on her much awaited return to the stage. And Mr. Hill has been performing with the (David Hykes') Harmonic Choir, whose landmark 1983 album, "Hearing Solar Winds" is slated for re-release in 2003." Jason Crigler is also a member of Goats in Trees along with his wife, Monica. You can get CC&H's albums through the Goats in Trees Website: http://www.goatsintrees.com
