A new set begins: Live performance by Dave DeCastro
A new set begins: Although he's been hiding a little bit in the background, playing with people like The Health & Happiness Show, Steve Wynn and Marty Wilson Piper, Dave's written a ton of great popsongs and put out a bunch of underappreciated albums. Dave braved the blizzard that day, taking good ol' New Jersey Transit from Morristown (which almost never stops running). (I travelled via NYC subways and the PATH, marvelling at all the sparrows who'd chosen to escape the snow with us travellers.) Dave was the perfect guest, playing a soundtrack to folks who stayed in to keep warm by the radio. You can check out Dave Decastro's CD s at:

Comment: Dave's smiling here, but you can see why travel to WFMU was such an adventure that day
My poor Honda, the day after!
