A new set begins: Live performance by One Ring Zero (Michael Hearst: vocals, guitar, claviola / Joshua Camp: vocals, piano, accordion, guitar)/ Timothy Quigley: drums / Ian Riggs: Bass)
A new set begins: Time Out NY described One Ring Zero's music as "...ethno-pop (that) could have been played in the background of a Balkan-embassy party in the 1930s. The Brooklyn-based duo of Michael Hearst and Joshua Camp have a new album, "WAKE THEM UP," just released on Barbes Records. One Ring Zero's latest album, features songs about marching mannequins, decrepit trailer parks, and Siamese twins,Michael and Joshua bring a whole band out to WFMU to recreate some of the tunes from their new disc.
