	9:49am YETI BOB: I notice that most of the band names people mentioned were of the form "take a common phrase and modify it" (rhythm methodists, etc). Those are all really clever and funny. But I think the best band names ever just stand on their own without referring to anything else. I'm thinking of names like "CAN" which is IMO one of the best names ever. (Especially when Irmin Schmidt lied and said it stood for "Communism, Anarchism and Nihilism")

	10:06am Eik: Though if you are going WHOLE HOG on Survivor then to get the whole historical context you kinda have to suffer through 8, 23, and 24 since a lot of the winners come back for season 40. And maybe 22 but that is really absolutely the pits. Also you’ll notice them knocking off other reality shows occasionally so that’s weird. More recent seasons are just about strategy and ever-shifting alliances, I like that much better than their bizarre attempts to copy The Bachelor (6, a great season despite that) and Jersey Shore (21-24, horrible).

While I have a history of doing season long recaps, I really like to have quick recaps about the episodes that I just watched or I remember them the least. So, to that end, here's a quick recap of season 36. Hometowns were back and I think they are back every year. Hometowns are interesting because you get to learn the hometowns of all the contestants

It was a fun party and a nice chance to proclaim things publicly -- and City Hall weddings are the best. But we don't celebrate that as our anniversary and sometimes barely remember to note it when it comes up. We're already had an anniversary and don't particularly value state interference in our deal.

But yeah, unless you work for the state or city, things like insurance are conferred by your employer. Mine took away opposite-sex domestic-partner benefits and was looking for a way to take away same-sex domestic partner status since same-sex marriage was legalized. I think it has not yet found a PRily acceptable way to present THAT particular shit plan.

	11:08am tim from champaign (now washington): For Handy and other birdwatchers here's some PNW bird info that I've learned since moving out here. The Anna's Hummingbird stays here year round. This time of year it's common to see 2 or 3 of them flocking together. There are also 2 types of crows. The standard American crow and the Northwest crow which is a little smaller than American crows. It took me a few years to figure that out.

	9:49am YETI BOB: I notice that most of the band names people mentioned were of the form "take a common phrase and modify it" (rhythm methodists, etc). Those are all really clever and funny. But I think the best band names ever just stand on their own without referring to anything else. I'm thinking of names like "CAN" which is IMO one of the best names ever. (Especially when Irmin Schmidt lied and said it stood for "Communism, Anarchism and Nihilism")

	10:06am Eik: Though if you are going WHOLE HOG on Survivor then to get the whole historical context you kinda have to suffer through 8, 23, and 24 since a lot of the winners come back for season 40. And maybe 22 but that is really absolutely the pits. Also you’ll notice them knocking off other reality shows occasionally so that’s weird. More recent seasons are just about strategy and ever-shifting alliances, I like that much better than their bizarre attempts to copy The Bachelor (6, a great season despite that) and Jersey Shore (21-24, horrible).

While I have a history of doing season long recaps, I really like to have quick recaps about the episodes that I just watched or I remember them the least. So, to that end, here's a quick recap of season 36. Hometowns were back and I think they are back every year. Hometowns are interesting because you get to learn the hometowns of all the contestants

It was a fun party and a nice chance to proclaim things publicly -- and City Hall weddings are the best. But we don't celebrate that as our anniversary and sometimes barely remember to note it when it comes up. We're already had an anniversary and don't particularly value state interference in our deal.

But yeah, unless you work for the state or city, things like insurance are conferred by your employer. Mine took away opposite-sex domestic-partner benefits and was looking for a way to take away same-sex domestic partner status since same-sex marriage was legalized. I think it has not yet found a PRily acceptable way to present THAT particular shit plan.

	11:08am tim from champaign (now washington): For Handy and other birdwatchers here's some PNW bird info that I've learned since moving out here. The Anna's Hummingbird stays here year round. This time of year it's common to see 2 or 3 of them flocking together. There are also 2 types of crows. The standard American crow and the Northwest crow which is a little smaller than American crows. It took me a few years to figure that out.
