	7:29pm dreamyandseedy: rural central Texas got ice! Limbs fell off my 60 ft tall oak tree. luckily none hit the house, just scary to hear cracking and crashing sounds all day and night from all directions. then the snow came. it was beautiful actually, i've never experienced really powdery snow. but there was a menace to it bc the ice never melted so the trees were still bent from ice and snow. we lost power but the company cycled it pretty reliably so we kept warm w/the fireplace and power came and went with regularity for 2 days. tomorrow should be sunny and warm (40 degrees) so that should melt some ice.

Limbs fell off my 60 ft tall oak tree. luckily none hit the house, just scary to hear cracking and crashing sounds all day and night from all directions. then the snow came. it was beautiful actually, i've never experienced really powdery snow. but there was a menace to it bc the ice never melted so the trees were still bent from ice and snow. we lost power but the company cycled it pretty reliably so we kept warm w/the fireplace and power came and went with regularity for 2 days. tomorrow should be sunny and warm (40 degrees) so that should melt some ice.
