Good morning Bobby Sand...and yeah. I'm kind of torn about that. There's so much worthy of mention, but it seems to lead, too often, to just sniping on the comments board, a distraction from a music program, and I'm often left with the feeling that nothing was accomplished, at best! Even mentioning the vaccine can cause a disagreement.

@Sylvia Got the all clear from the vet (thank goodness). It was most likely stress-induced. I live in a really noisy area and like me, my Pepé is a pretty sensitive guy. So when the upstairs neighbor's kids came it was a disaster. Wrote them a letter explaining the situation and they won't be back until the fall. Going to start volunteering at the station after my next jab. Plenty of time to make new friends, get to know the JC area, and hopefully find a new place. Everything's cool again here, thanks for asking! :)

I am a bit wary about Joel Cohen's next movie, which is a version of Macbeth. With Denzel Washington as Macbeth. I can hear the dodgy accents already!

I thought, a few days ago when I put it to listen to it for the Nth time, to tell you about it. I fell in love with it when I discovered it last year or so.I hope it is not completely outside of what you would consider enjoyable to hear (I like it for specific "reasons" linked to my history and musical environment, so I have no idea how it might be received by others)
soundcloud.com...
that's the version (a modern, recent ambient-electronic leaning rework of it) that I discovered and liked, more because of the singer's timber of voice, but it is actually an old song from the arabic folklore. I want to say syrian, but I might be off the mark by a few kilometers, geographically.
It goes hand in hand with listening to a version closer to the original melody I think like this one soundcloud.com...
So it's a love song, but I might -if I find the time. it is always the problem of finding that darn time- look for or translate the lyrics for anyone interested

Thanks as ever, Ruth!!
