OMG! Bob Fass changed my life!!!Discovering his show at the edge of the dial on my parents console radio that had FM stations before FM was even a popular thing in the mid sixties- I volunteered on his show when I was like 15!

I didn't hear WBAI until well past its church-glory days. But I guested on a few shows there and helped Citizen Kafka with the Free Music Store revival.

KPFA was the station that introduced me to unusual music. Unfortunately I don't remember any of the particular DJs except John Gullak's "No Other Radio Show".

Hi David and everyone!
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 5:35pm

Hello, ranjit. For me, radio turned upside down when a DJ on WDAI in Chicago ordered a pizza on the air.

This Stephen Scott is only sounds produced by many folks on a single piano? Ah, just saw that bows are involved hence the drones.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 5:54pm

11 people working a single instrument, pulling ribbons through the strings, and also plucking, picking, muting, and generally exciting the strings by any means necessary.
