Probly not related to 'stress' actually :
' The term stretto comes from the Italian past participle of stringere, and means "narrow", "tight", or "close" '...
& just like that FMU is precisely Educational (last week's news)...

Ken From Hyde Park:

Listening relatively stress-free at the moment.

Thank you, Tommy in Neversink, for IDing the station on 90.1 that I'd mistaken for a sporadic E reception, considering we were approaching the annual peak of E(s). Now I get that it's TOO steady and lasting to be skip. What a revolting development this is for what seems to be the always embattled WFMU. Going to have to switch to stream while I'm home here in Andover.

Got to ask Field Marshal Ken if he's soliciting reports of interference.

Fucking NPR strikes again! I just saw a YouTube last week about how they're lobbying to get the FrankenFMs off 87.75

Will look for "The Fugue in the Style of the 18th Century " ...anything on Smithsonian Folkways is worthwhile, there is every genre. Nice to learn about 'stretto' ..How come no one ever told me before? Thanks Bethany!
