Well, Charlies have always interested me, their first LP was a soundtrack to Julisteiden Liimaajat, a 'political' movie that's apparently rather bad, and is never really shown anywhere, except a couple of times privately. It's been shown officially in public three times I guess in early 70s, which was the absolute minimum by law I think. As a movie buff I hate it I've never seen it, only the early 90s documentary about it. But the Charlies music for it was good, even if it is very much of its time like the said ultra-rare movie

@8:47 Revolution Rabbit Nov63: I should watch Zabriskie Point but unlike it, Julisteiden Liimaajat is apparently very bad not only content-wise but also technically. I've seen only short clips from it in the aforementioned documentary about it. It got very negative response when it was shown at the first Tampere Short Film Festival 1970. The "premiere" was two years later... I've heard some reels of it are lost and the two-three viewings within the last 30 years or so have been of a private or surprise nature. "Musiikkia Elokuvasta Julisteiden Liimaajat" (the soundtrack) is a very good Charlies album. The posthumous one "Jail Sessions" as well (Charlies rehearsed in an empty jail they had access to as one band member's dad was a village cop or something)

I gotta say, somewhat cooler weather (60 to 70F) here in Suomi-Finland has been bliss. But then after the weekend, heatwave back again. "Yay". Actually I wouldn't mind so much, but after many trees on the forest starting from mybackyard were hacked off, the sunlight heats up my place preey quickly. And us finns rarely have air conditioning at home.
