	2:11am coelacanth∅: i had a good conversation with a very vital 80 year-old woman a few weeks ago. a classical musician but leans heavily toward jazz. i figured "jazz"; but she actually was into good jazz. she said she likes all music (which is never true if a person actually listens) and i mentioned drone and noise-drone, and that lots of music stays with 1 chord throughout and she said that doesn't sound interesting. i said some pieces are over an hour long and she said i have a lot of patience. . . . i have not given up hope on her though! i think she doesn't get it, but she's capable of appreciating it.

	2:30am Ike: St. Petersburg? I was briefly there in the 90s to study. There was a restaurant nicknamed “The Hare Krishna Cafe” but it wasn’t Indian food. I think it was vegetarian. I don’t remember its actual name though.
	2:36am coelacanth∅: i think i like music within every basic "genre", but certainly not "all kinds of music". it's likely there's absolutely nothing on the top 40 chart today, and for most of the past 10-20 years, that i don't vehemently dislike. doubtless there's music within all genres that i dislike -even my favorite genres.

	2:11am coelacanth∅: i had a good conversation with a very vital 80 year-old woman a few weeks ago. a classical musician but leans heavily toward jazz. i figured "jazz"; but she actually was into good jazz. she said she likes all music (which is never true if a person actually listens) and i mentioned drone and noise-drone, and that lots of music stays with 1 chord throughout and she said that doesn't sound interesting. i said some pieces are over an hour long and she said i have a lot of patience. . . . i have not given up hope on her though! i think she doesn't get it, but she's capable of appreciating it.

	2:36am coelacanth∅: i think i like music within every basic "genre", but certainly not "all kinds of music". it's likely there's absolutely nothing on the top 40 chart today, and for most of the past 10-20 years, that i don't vehemently dislike. doubtless there's music within all genres that i dislike -even my favorite genres.
