About five years ago, I was helping out at a friend who puts on a small sxsw style music festival called "Side Pony Express" in the small town of Bisbee, Arizona. I ended up doing sound for the Exbats on the patio of a small pizza joint. They were super cool and nice.

It's close to tombstone, the "town too tough to die" and Bisbee has its counter by being "the town too high to care". Many an eccentric folk live and have retired there. @Nate K, they were very genuine.

	10:31am Handy Haversack: Just because: I have been drinking a lot of good cider lately. It's wild once you find some good stuff how crappy the stuff in the stores is. Beer has gotten so expensive, with such marginal returns in taste (for me at any rate; I hate IPAs) as the cost ratchets up, that I was pretty much down to just PBR anyway. Happy to spend a little more on really good, dry, wild, human-made cider.

About five years ago, I was helping out at a friend who puts on a small sxsw style music festival called "Side Pony Express" in the small town of Bisbee, Arizona. I ended up doing sound for the Exbats on the patio of a small pizza joint. They were super cool and nice.

It's close to tombstone, the "town too tough to die" and Bisbee has its counter by being "the town too high to care". Beer has gotten so expensive, with such marginal returns in taste (for me at any rate; I hate IPAs) as the cost ratchets up, that I was pretty much down to just PBR anyway. Happy to spend a little more on really good, dry, wild, human-made cider.
