	9:57am Handy Haversack: Portsmouth Jay, I just catalogued my cassettes yesterday. A surprisingly small number of commercial cassettes survived the ages, but it might be that they are exaggerated in my memory. After all, I did have a turntable in HS and the CD era really got going as I was hitting HS, so most of my music ended up on CD or vinyl. But I have been buying some cassettes lately. So it's not a big proportion of total listenation, but it's real. I kind of threw up my hands at all the mix tapes I found. I can't bring myself to throw them away, but I am not sure I'm ready to listen to them. Plus there are like seven totally unlabeled cassettes. Again, I couldn't quite make myself trash them. A mystery for another day, though.

	9:58am Handy Haversack: I lost all my vinyl, like my comic books and almost all my gaming stuff, during the chaos after my dad died, though, when I was living far away. And there must have been a collection of cassettes lost that way as well. Records from that era are spotty at best.

I still have my dice from when I was a kid and even the original Crown Royal pouch I kept them in, stolen from my sister's secret liquor stash.

They have no way of letting me white-list Bandcamp. I ended up getting a credit card just for Bandcamp. Yay, first world problems!

A surprisingly small number of commercial cassettes survived the ages, but it might be that they are exaggerated in my memory. After all, I did have a turntable in HS and the CD era really got going as I was hitting HS, so most of my music ended up on CD or vinyl. But I have been buying some cassettes lately. So it's not a big proportion of total listenation, but it's real. I kind of threw up my hands at all the mix tapes I found. I can't bring myself to throw them away, but I am not sure I'm ready to listen to them. Plus there are like seven totally unlabeled cassettes. Again, I couldn't quite make myself trash them. A mystery for another day, though.

They have no way of letting me white-list Bandcamp. I ended up getting a credit card just for Bandcamp. Yay, first world problems!
