I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

@Threemoons-tell them a check is a perfectly acceptable alternative and that it is inexcusable that they are not paying you. I think you can sue them and win. Call a labor lawyer and get a free consult. They cannot just not pay you like that.
GLAD you are getting paid. You should submit the receipt for the wiring charge, all you needed to give them was a voided check. THEY Should eat this, they asked for something outside the norm.

@Mister actually the kid who enters the payroll stuff is really sweet, and HR has been really helpful through my Mom's illness RE helping me get PTO, so I had some good karma to return to them. Buckminster Fuller suggested private property of equipment be replaced with "renting it" or "Borrowing it" from the "quartermaster" type person like on a ship. He was in the Navy. He also remained silent for a year until he had something to say. He was a pretty far out dude. I built a simple Dome once for Organism art even in Williamsburg, Brooklyn back in 1994. His dymaxion homes were never built except for a prototype.

@Wild Neil: I actually met Buckminster Fuller very briefly a long time ago. In 1974 he gave a lecture at the college I was attending in Los Angeles. After the lecture I approached him with a question (I can't remember what). As I was about to speak he raised his hand and said "I learned everything I know by making a resolution to myself to find the answer to all my questions on my own." I'm sure it was a stock reply he gave to many inquisitive undergraduates, yet I took it to heart and still consider myself essentially an autodidact.

I saw a Frank Zappa lecture in the 80's at Syracuse University. I asked him what music he was currently listening to. He said Bulgarian folk music. Some in the crowd tittered but he straightened them right out. I bought one Bulgarian Folk Music record at Generator in NYC (Gen Ken's shop) and it was dissapointing. Then Egg, my roomate, played Les Mysterie Des Bulgares or some such thing and it BLEW...MY...Mind. I later saw them on Johnny Carson on youtube and, bizzarely, they played Oh Susannah.
@Rob M-I snuck in at Saratoga Performing Art Center...Once I ran past the security guards, I was in for good. Not my proudest moment. The spinning people were really odd. Spinners they were called, achieved esctasy by twirling around.

Three feet would be a state of emergency. Cheektowga NY got seven fet of snow in one day in Snowvember a few years ago. 18 inch is one and a half feet. Its a major inconvenience but is it really AN EMERGENCY? I think the plows can handle it. For snowvember it was too tall for the plows and people were stuck for days.

I hope you guys stocked up on your storm chips. Those are chips you eat when you're looking out the window and saying "yup, it''s stormin' alright."

A snow emergency releases funds to cover snow removal etc. It also serves as a warning to people about unnecessary travel. Think of the people who get stuck in the snow and require emergency service to help them. The fewer people on the road, the faster the snow removal.

The blizzard or even near-blizzard conditions predicted will cause blinding snow and possible power outages. Be mindful, folks, as my junior high principal Mr. DiBuono used to say all the time.

still, i don't know why another slider bar just appeared on the right. it doesn't do anything that wasn't covered already and it crowds everything else. now i have to scroll left to see the artists names...or have the right of the comments cut off.

Oh, I didn't know it was a BLIZZARD with blowing snow. Those are deadly as you cannot see where you are driving. Got caught in one driving home one time. A 40 minute trip took 2 hours, some of it at 5mp or even a standstill due to limited visibility. STAY HOME!

Krys, the whole screen shuttered for about a second, then that bar appeared, and everything shifted to make room. there is actually an element to the playlist that didn't exist before. it's not on the drummer stream playlist as of now.
