"Rest in pop", I like that.

Hey Gang!

I like when songs have layers. My favorite kind of music is when it's so overproduced I can't hear myself think.

I'm such a cavewoman, I used to think I only liked music primitive. This radio show has made me rethink a lot of things about what I'm attracted to. I think I must like any kind of approach if it's done in a way that really yanks on my insides.

Is the tv hooked up to a computer or do you have to use the chatroom with a tv control?
Avatar 3:17pm
Dolor-X:

I’m chatting on my phone, I didn’t see a way to chat on the big screen, lol.
  3:18pm
Kittimu:

Commenting from a TV would be impressive.
Avatar 3:18pm
HyperDose:

@Debbie if your TV is super smart and has bluetooth you can use a keyboard with built-in trackpad to type and navigate. It's pretty cool!
Avatar 3:19pm
Debbie Davenport:

I think I might go with a big screen tv in the future, for a desk top computer. I've seen computers hooked up to those and it's pretty cool.
OH wow HyperDose. that is good to know. Hope my monitor wears out so I can try it!

Thanks Hyperdose. I’m the device that’s not super smart in that technical way but it’s worth looking into.

  3:51pm
Kittimu:

Anyone else get annoyed when you hear a good junkshop glam song that's in another language? Like, you can't look up the lyrics cause it's so obscure, so it's either sit there unknowing or, like, learn french
Avatar 3:55pm
Debbie Davenport:

yes
Avatar 3:55pm
Debbie Davenport:

but I am blown away at the same time, that pop cultures in other countries do their thing in English.
Avatar 3:56pm

Kittimu, it depends. Sometimes the melody is enough for me. There are more answers online than you might guess. Obscure is super special though.
Avatar 3:58pm

True, it's still a good song even if I can't understand them, it's just nice sometimes to know what they're saying

That Polnareff song

The doll who said no

She is a doll who says "no, no, no no"
All day long, she says "no no no no no"
She is, she is so cute
That I dream of her all night
She is a doll who says "no, no, no no"
All day long, she says "no no no no no"
No one has every taught her
That one can say "oui"
Without even hearing, she says "no no no no"
Without looking at me she says "no no no no"
However I would give my life
for her to say "yes"
However I would give my live
That she would say "yes"
But she is a doll, who says "no no no no"
All the day long she says "no no no no"
No one has taught her
That it's possible to say "yes"
Oh no no no non no
no no no
She says no....

Yeah Kitten, pass that homegrown!
Avatar 4:16pm
Debbie Davenport:

I miss homegrown. I do appreciate having a dispensary on every corner though.
Avatar 4:19pm
HyperDose:

We don't have homegrow in NJ yet (ugh). If I were to grow I'd need space for an at least 3x3 tent and a generator. Have to wait until I'm a homeowner for that. Getting my medicine shipped in for now.
Avatar 4:21pm
Debbie Davenport:

My husband doesn't like the cannabis scene so he wouldn't let me grow on our property of the past 18 years. He buys all the pot I want though. someday maybe I'll have that access again. fingers crossed.
Avatar 4:23pm
HyperDose:

I plan on shifting into the cannabis industry once our local govt gets their doo doo together. Gives me time to take some Oaksterdam courses. My extensive retail experience paired with their budtenders certificate will put me ahead of everyone trying to get in.
Avatar 4:24pm
Debbie Davenport:

good thinking.
Avatar 4:26pm
Debbie Davenport:

I would love loungesfor this. Or canabis at the bars that serve alcohol. I am in Oregon, we don't have that part. I think California has a few test spots. or maybe I'm misremembering the articles I've seen. so great with music and perfect for a non drinker who wants to party with the drinkers while bands are playing.
Avatar 4:30pm
HyperDose:

British Columbia was ahead of the curve with the dispensary/lounges. Yet each state down here thinks they know best and royally screw up the legal rollouts every time. We're having an FMU get-together next month at Beer Authority in NYC. It's fun, but would be nicer if I could vape indoors instead of having to go outside for two minutes a sesh 🙄
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:35pm

HyperDose, I don't suppose that get-together falls between 5/4 and 5/8? I'm planning a visit then
