Discotech Underground is actually two...two...two shows in one!

The first half is a "Happy Hour" of sorts (because it's five o'clock somewhere, right?), spinning the kinds of sounds you might have heard at a real, authentic 1960's DISCOTECH as cool cats and swingin' chicks danced the night away in their mod threads and mini skirts to hard-driving sounds under the flashing lights! The only thing missing are the cage dancers...but we're working on it!

The second half is for when you head home after a wild night, and ease in with the heady, trippy, mind-expanding sounds of a groovy free-form UNDERGROUND rock radio station that digs deep into their library and blows your mind all over again!

Yes, Rhode Island has a staggering amount of musical talent, contemporary wise as well. John Dwyer of Thee Oh Sees is from RI, their early releases sound like they beamed in from 1968. Great stuff from the land of the quahog.

Kip, are you a fan of Tomorrow? Was listening to their lp last night and there are some serious gems on that album. Production is a standout(great phase on some trax). Even their version of Strawberry Fields is pretty tight, could’ve been a throwaway but they didn’t embarrass themselves.

We live half a mile from Publix & they're taking walk-ins. Got the shots & some groceries in a short time. We got the brand new Moderna, #5 for us. We'll get flu shots in a few weeks.

I had a very mild case of Covid. I used Dayquil to treat it and was fine in a week. I've had colds that were worse. But, I still need to get another booster so I don't get it again.
