I'm a talking head in this Negativland documentary from several years ago, but the new one is a whole different take. Ryan Worsley does really incredible documentaries, and I've interviewed her once or twice. I shot a bunch of footage for the doc at the shows I was opening for, but it may or may not end up in the final film. (Still haven't seen it.)

At a very early date, that happened to be my birthday (perhaps we'd been dating for a couple months) it was getting late, and we were at a bar, and we were about to pay, and this song came on. So I turned to her and said, "In 20 years, we'll year this at a supermarket, and we'll say to each other, 'They're playing our song.' "

So we both got super into that album afterwards, started making mixes for each other... then we even played it at our wedding.
