I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

I might miss the middle of the show: there should be live music downstairs (music from Kabylia). Then again, maybe not: that collective got there by getting a red cross clothing bank evicted, and appealing to our Interior minister (aka top cop) heritage might not play all that well here. But... live music...

Hi Bryce and all. Fred, sounds like a strange collective if they have connections to the topcop. Been quite a week here, too many late nights and weekends putting together an EU proposal, but we got it done, and I think it's really good, so let's hope we'll get money to revolutionize the world of energy storage. Also just one tweak away on the last remix from being able to complete my "Banjo Machine Music" album project. And got my omicron jab today and am waiting to see if it knocks me flat or I have a mild reaction. Either way, this is the perfect soundtrack.

@Carmichael VERY cool. I also covet your Osterizer blender. Mom gave me the one from her engagement party when I moved to Astoria. The motor finally gave out -- actually caught fire -- after almost 45 years of constant use. Now, every ferkackta appliance has digital controls and a breadboard all in one controller -- if one part of the breadboard goes, whole board/appliance goes unless you pay a fortune for a new breadboard (lived through this with my fridge/freezer).

3moons, if you go gas, you can still get (mostly) analog stoves. we got a Bertazzoni with an analog thermostat on the front! (if the power goes out in the redwoods, we still gotta eat!).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:41pm
Handy Haversack:

I started actually using our blender during the pandemic but first discovered that we had lost the O-ring rubber washer. I asked whether anyone had tried using paper towels to form a seal there, and Carmichael said, "Don't be that guy, Handy," and gave me a link to a parts-replacement site. And the rest is blender history!
