there's a picture of me and Karen from 1 house away my father took. Karen was my younger sister's friend (they had the same birthday and were practically opposite in most ways) so she was in our yard. he said stand by the fence, Karen hold this dandelion and he kept telling me to move closer and i'd move an inch.
the look on my face is hilarious! smiling but with extreme embarrassment!

I have three older sisters - & it's had to be a big part of why I don't understand males who don't respect females or say they can't just be friends with women.

...my ☽Moon is in ♊︎Gemini & stuff ...I'm youngest of five siblings - & we're all real different. Some families siblings are like nesting dolls of each other. Not us. They're good people - but some issues with emotional intelligence I'd posit in my honky North New England family ...also birth order thing of the Baby (me) often doesn't get as much guidance ...but I have to pay you for therapy if any more detail...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:32am
coelacanth∅:

right Rabbit. to some guys a female is either an object of desire, a matriarch, or a subservient.
- a product of family culture, even if they intellectually know better.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:37am
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...yeah - otoh ! - as a ♏︎Scorpio (my ♀︎Venus even) - it's hard to not be emotionally all or nothing in passionate relations where love & hate are alloyed - who am I kidding. It's interesting karma alright... But I just don't think of women as lesser in mind or rights or any such thing. That I simply don't get.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:37am

We're all damaged and doomed to a certain extent.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:38am
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

This seems the plain truth.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:42am

Intelligence doesn't seem to have any bearing on how you navigate thought life. This is not exclusively a problem of any pairing - binary or non-binary. Everyone is lost in the dark woods.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:43am
coelacanth∅:

i've wondered why i am and have always been, as well as i remember, not patriarchal, as my father was and my older brother was.
the only thing i come up with is that because i disengaged from my family to a fairly great degree and listened to music almost constantly that a lot of my values, morals, mannerisms, etc were taught to me by the music.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:44am

Rawk descends directly via Blues from Vodoun & West African Spirituality. Not to say it is unadulterated. But it is direct. & - that's different from Xianized European heritage. & - that is a big deal. McKenna's Archaic Revival to go Global about it...
