Classmates would go to block parties in the Bronx or Mount Vernon which were not far from my hometown of Port Chester, NY. They'd have boomboxes and would rap outside by the football stadium or walking between classes. It was exciting.

	1:24pm Barno in Akron: I grew up in Hartville, Ohio - An Amish + Mennonite community, so their weren't many rappers in my community. But every night I'd record the Rappers Delight Show on Clevelands' WZAK so my friends and I could listen on the school bus.

	1:35pm Mr. Oxford: ↳ Song: "Spill the Beans" by "Blurt" This reminds me of my days as a college student about 10 years ago when I would spend time going through music blogs and YouTube to find lost 1980s experimental rock/post-punk/electronic music goodies. Gone are those days. There is something wonderfully eerie about listening to this and imagining what the 1980s underground may have been like. I wish I could explain this feeling in a more articulate manner.

I wish I could explain this feeling in a more articulate manner.
