I haven’t researched “Apolok” yet … but that was freakin great.
- at first listen, seems to exist in the “rock in opposition” motif. - slight Aksak Maboul / Honeymoon Killers vibes ?
Any suggestions where to start with Apolok ?

Thank you BelaRadio for that caraaayzee “Apolok” YouTube video post … which sent me to a few wild Apolok YouTube cassette posts ! Hungarian music = yay ! …. So in the realm of the great Hungarian band “Kampec Delores” !? (Love that band !)

Seems that most of Apolok recordings were cassette ONLY since 1989 ! (Until one CD in 2009 ?! Oh , & the only other one that WFMU has from 1993).

Are Apolok still around ? Were they successful or culty popular ? …. Utterly wild stuff !
Thanks again !

Wonderful to be reminded of the under-recorded Mary Margaret O’Hara ! (Got ‘em & love ‘em). Don’t sleep on her only solo album. 1988 Miss America.
That PYROLATOR album “AusLand” blew my mind !, when I brought it home from the tiny & too short lived “99 record shop” in NYC. I thought I couldn’t ♥️ a sound more than “der Plan” albums ,,, yet PYROLATOR out-did the mothership !
