i had a young red bellied woodpecker hit a window and wrapped him in a towel out of the dryer. took about ten minutes but he perked up and when i put him down he flew up onto my leg and clung there for a bit before flying off. i brought a house finch in once and when he came around he started flying around the kitchen. got him out okay though.
