The sound of the 60s becoming the 70s...and beyond! Late-era garage and early hard rock, with a pinch of more "modern" sounds thrown in for flavor. Fuzz, frets, riffage, and wattage. Let your hair down on WFMU's Rock And Soul Radio and get a taste of the "Hard Stuff".

Hi all
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:
...yARdbiRdS ...Sabbath
...I got obsession on every side of Zep
- but they don't live @ the center of my heart like those do.
Yet ! Just this weekend - my & my oldest School era pals from where I come from here - visited one of our rank who does Sound for bands in NY State down nearer your way - & an all day party in a roadhouse with mostly Cover Bands - & got a dose of a certain amount of Zep homage in the process...

being into the old blues, i know the song they stole that from (Bukka White?) and there's an old version that's stylistically similar - much in the way zep blatantly stole both song and delivery of bring it on home, dazed & confused and others...
but then, it also seems like a mockery!

... it's easy to look at pictures of Kossoff melting into the speaker box and think sound was a form of both ecstasy and relief for him; but i wonder how much of that was obvious to a teenager at the time...(?)
