“…IF…” yes indeed (solid movie!) some great moments. Perhaps has dated a bit(?),Yet who cares. I was a super fan of L.Anderson’s follow-up “O Lucky Man” 1973. Malcolm McDowell was once again a naughty riot in that. Quite a roll McDowell was on, back early 70s. Great cast. I posit that Boots Riley’s (of The Coup) excellent & wacko “Sorry to Bother You”(2018) was influenced by the film “O Lucky Man”. Try em back to back.

However, when they have no supply, or their victim stands up for themselves, then the anxiety hits them, because they've lost control of the victim. So, yes, there are a lot of addicted narcs, but it depends on what the sitch is. I'm stuck in a situation of an alcoholic narcissist, which is a very dangerous combination.

Yes indeed, Jodorowsky had a huge thick tome of a storyboard book for original early 70s Dune. That Spielberg, Lucas, & Ridley Scott (as well as John Carpenter & clever under appreciated Dan O’Bannon = see fun “Dark Star”1974) liberally utilized & borrowed from.

Love MAGMA as well! It’s been way too long since I’ve revisited their catalog & my albums/CDs. I’d forgotten that Magma were gonna do the soundtrack! That woulda been even better for the mise en scene of H.R. Giger’s set designs. What’s yer top 3 Magma albums? I guess MDK is my fave. But I like the ones surrounding that one. “Attahk” is a riot (& the last one I had collected). I hear that latter re-worked live versions of Magma are great.
