Stumbled upon: During the Trump Administration, the Waters of the US (WOTUS) rule was rewritten which resulted in about 50% of our Nation's wetlands losing protection under the US Clean Water Act.
And: if you see water, but the water does not connect to a navigable stream, then it is not protected.
Who comes up eith this nonsense? And, even worse, why is it supported?

there was what appeared to be a brown Praying Mantis on the edge/side of one of the flower pots on my fire escape -- but they were not moving, and as i got close, gently touching with one finger, the little critter was dry, almost weightless, and fell away

so, i am trying to research if this is normal when Praying Mantises die? i know Praying Mantises do not live more than 6 to 12 months, i am just hoping that the little one did not die bc of anything i did :(
