Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

Good point about range of interviewees. Maybe. That's always a challenge for Documetarians I think.

Imagine omissions & oversights are resented - as for the Jazz one. Which wasn't bad ...but the range of Interviewees . Consultants thing loomed large there...

I learned to accept it, even appreciate, but it took awhile. I agree it was the gateway to a drop from wonderfulness. (All Mod Cons & Setting Sons & Sound Affects are still tops). I have a love/hate relationship with The Gift album. Has anybody listened to the deluxe versions releases - worthy ?
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:
How about more Hendrix ? I think he's one that's so exalted - it's effectively a cliche - yet he's actually not played or heard often anymore. Live version of 'Hear My Train' off 'Rainbow Bridge', say...
