	4:43pm Ike: I couldn't get past the first episode of The Curse. I just can't get into the kind of comedy where every single person in the show is a complete scumbag and I despise them all. Does anyone get more sympathetic or do they all remain resolutely terrible? I don't know why, but I can watch dramas about horrible, wretched, disgusting human beings and enjoy them, but not comedies. Something throws me out of it.

Ravioli Enthusiasts! been listening/lurking -- loving your selections on this cold gloomy day! 😺😺 i watched the first few episodes of The Curse -- but have not been able to keep up -- i like it so far bc the characters really are so freaking CRINGEY! and just so totally clueless -- like Emma Stone's "eco friendly" character b*tching about "another dead bird" in front of one of the houses 🤬🤬 and, i may not quite hate Seinfeld, but i never "got it" either -- although i thoroughly DESPISED it when Kramer is "accidentally" burning a Puerto Rican flag -- like that is supposed to be funny? never liked or "got" Friends either -- didn't know why, until the episode in which a Parks employee remembers Rachel and Monica from high school -- but they have NO idea who she is -- so all the "Friends" are basically the awful "popular" (& often truly mean!) kids in high school -- who have not changed at all with adulthood i DO adore The Handmaid's Tale though -- Yellowjackets too . . . Does anyone get more sympathetic or do they all remain resolutely terrible? I don't know why, but I can watch dramas about horrible, wretched, disgusting human beings and enjoy them, but not comedies. Something throws me out of it.
