Prog vocals: Jon Anderson at his peak, Gabriel in Genesis, then there's Dane with Druid...definitely an acquired taste. I have always held that Fripp has no taste for vocals. I like none of his singers.

Bowie several capes: Ziggy Days & when he was singing to skull (shoulder cape not full length) are two I saw. Eno in Roxy I think it was just feathers coming out from his shoulders (inside cover of For Your Pleasure) I seem to recall Beefheart in a photo with a top hat & shoulder cape , but not sure

My love saw Fripp many years ago, solo in some loft in NYC. Just him on a stool with his guitar & Frippertronics rig. He played, took questions from those in attendance & she said he was very funny & really polite.
