hey now. batteries die in those. you don't have to have the sensors replaced when you get new tires. you may have a low pressure light on your dash but if you check your air pressure with a guage you'll be fine. don't think you can fail an inspection if the tire light is on.

Got it. So I’m guessing that tires bought and installed at TireTown, the TPMS isn’t linked to the car. But it can be used to match the tires to the car through surveillance.

quick fix which often works on many vehicles when the tire light is on.
Over fill the tires by 3-4 lbs. and drive it. It will often reset to off.

Mine are simple bluetooth devices that pair with the cars ecm.

Battery in device on the rime goes dead it can be replaced but tire shops would rather charge you for a whole new transmitter & valve stem assy.
