	9:43pm Erik/VT: HolyCow, I’m stunned that “RayGun speaks” flexi was available as early as March 15 1982 ?! Perhaps WFMU was playing it for quite awhile later as well. Definitely started listening to WFMU around 1981, but much more obsessively by 1982-1994. & now again since December 2022 😄.

	9:59pm cbunny: I saw Robyn there too. and many others in the last five years. the terrible influx of ‘people to north brooklyn drove them out. it’s on them. I admire the way zebulon shuttered. they were one of the reasons those ‘people’ moved there, and then they complained. Zebulon said they’d open somewhere at a later date and they did. one of the best curated venues in LA.

I had never appreciated his directing methodology until seeing a tribute/honorific band, Furious Bongos. It was a worthwhile evening, and proof of the music's quality, I suppose.

I would walk from my house to watch him play a medley of MOI 'hits' while cruisers would try and hook up. Top notch entertainment, and it was free!
