Oh Lyrics. A whole other field of the Words ~ Music relation. I think Speech for starters is in some way Musical. We don't speak in monotones generally. & there's certainly Rhythm. Poetry is Words that aren't logical & literal - like 'Cold Fire' for example. But then - yeah - there's the pure Sound. & Voice is far from being only about Words anyhow... Let along Music generally. Early REM where you had no idea was great. But so is 'Visions of Johanna'. & so is 'Bird is the Word'...

Yes, I feel that sometimes.

As soon as I buy tix for a show I write it down on my calendar. Unfortunately, I have no control over the concert scheduling gods. If all the bands I want to see descend upon NYC in one particular month, then I'm busy that particular month.

I'm learning my limitations as I turn into an old fart. I can't do standing-only mosh pit venues anymore. And I can't do a lot of shows during tax season because I can't take off work during that time.

My old body can’t keep up with all that I wish to do. Too many show, only so much energy. The money being the least of it. The logistics are often difficult. Hats off to those of you, on the stage, playing the music. I need a tour manager. and an Rx for Adoral. Lol!

Thank you, Joe. This has been another very good show. Going forward, I have to clear my schedule on Mondays, knowing that I can’t get anywhere until mid afternoon west coast time. So much music... I’d heard of this. Time speeds up as we age.

A couple of bones leftover from a beef roast, a bunch of fat trimmings from said roast. Vegetable trimmings from the last month; onions, garlic, celery, carrots, mushrooms. Simmer for 3 hours.
