Saw Azymuth on Saturday Kris. They were fantastic but it sort of felt like Alex & friends to me. His two collaborators are superb musicians but weren’t really trying to replicate the styles of the two dead members(for the better IMO) they were replacing. That was more apparent when they started to jam and less so when they were playing composed segments. The vocals of course sounded different as only one of the voices was actually on the albums. Not really sure how to talk about it. That sort of sounds negative but it was far from that.
