I watched Asteroid City - For some reason the songs were mostly muted, I don't get that. But it felt like a movie that was waiting to break out into something great with one key scene that makes your eyes well up or you jump up and yell "damn!", and it never did. I'll have to watch it again.

Yes but I felt it needed something pivotal to happen beyond what was there to tie it together more, I kept waiting and waiting and it never came. Even the ending seemed too nicely wrapped to be memorable. All of the younger actors had good performances though.

Check out the video of Overkill covered by Lazlo Bane on YT...it has to be the video because there is a cameo in the last verse that literally floored me the first time I saw that video on MTV many years ago. It was perfect, and in arguably the best part of the song. You'll have to trust me on this one...if you're a fan of the song.

Back in the day before insurance fears, beer companies had big freebie tailgates outside Dyche Stadium. Students would get ripped by 11 am and never go inside for the game and you just had to flash ID to get in free. The mens bathrooms had those classic troughs instead of urinals, just like Wrigley. Beauties that filled like ponds.

I agree, and there's video of it too - pure energy and the crowd is really into it. There is a somewhat "lost" video of Brian Wilson and his band playing the song on Conan O'Brien's show that is a killer performance, all I have of that is the audio. The drummers on the original sessions were a mix of Jim Gordon, Hal Blaine, and various percussionists including Dennis. It's hard to keep track because of all the edits.
