Hi Kendra! This week I learned that MEN IN BLACK did not only visit people who witnessed UFOs, to intimidate them into silence, but they also visited someone investigating THE ENEMA BANDIT, a burglar who would hold women captive and forcibly give them enemas. A WOMAN IN BLACK also intimidated someone who was trying to find the tomb of King Arthur, because it would lead to a gateway to other dimensions best not traversed...

How was your day?

Sounds like a good day!

I can only speculate on the through line, as I've not experienced MIB, although I do have a mild experience with Indrid Cold, and an odd coincidence with a Mothman sighting that was reported... But I still take much of it with a grain of salt. I've found some of the "journalists" who reported a lot of Fortean stuff to be sensational, and in the case of John Keel, he reported about things that he was clearly wrong about in at least one case of a floating silver being in the forests of New York State...

This is fun. I was listening to a Yugoslavian (Serbian) band from the 80s called "PARAF" and they had a fun little post punk thing going on with female vocals. I don't listen to this sort of thing very much, but it's fun every once in a while.

it's an old book but i think worth checking out ...i think it's really cheap too.
the book has different drawing exercises like contour drawing where you only draw the outline of the form you're looking at whether it be a model or a house plant, but you draw only looking at the subject not at the paper...it's remarkable how the drawings improve with you're concentration improving...

I haven't done proper drawings in a long time, other than doodles, but when I used to do portraits with charcoal, I would make a grid, basically a cross on the page with pencil, just to make sure my proportions were in order.

I only had one book on drawing, and it was mainly about anatomy. I think now I am not patient enough anymore to draw properly. I like to make insane doodles sometimes, though.

I did get awards in high school and did commissioned work regularly for a time, but that was a long time ago.

Good luck with the drawing!
