I saw a "dance" show I really disliked this week. No dance involved, it was footage of physical therapy session the "artist" ran in assisted living facilities for Alzheimer patients.
Not very interesting, triggering for some people who have had parents in these facilities, misleading as it focuses on the one hour a day that might be fun.
But what I couldn't help thinking about is that she was making money after having these elderly, Alzheimer addled, patients sign a release form, when she was a staff member. That looks ethically dubious

Avatar 👻 Swag For Life Member 1:52pm

No patients for sure, I don't know about family members (there were interviews in there that made clear they were basically dumped off by family anyway)

The playlist is there www.grip.house... (with an additional playlist for the shortlisted tracks), you just have to scroll down a bit.
The choreographer said he wanted a more "pop" soundtrack, the most pop was The Raincoats No One’s Little Girl, early on dancers introduced themselves by reading the lyrics, so it was the theme song (it did feature later)
I mean, his idea of pop is Maya Ratkje or Tanya Tagaq, give this guy a show (playlist info down the page)

Syd Mead was behind this film:

"In 1959, Mead was recruited to Ford Motor Company's Advanced Styling Studio by Elwood Engel. From 1960 to 1961, Mead worked in Ford Motor Company Styling in Detroit, Michigan. Mead left Ford after two years to illustrate books and catalogues for companies including United States Steel, Celanese, Allis-Chalmers and Atlas Cement. In 1970, he launched Syd Mead, Inc. in Detroit with clients including Philips Electronics.[6]"
