Yeah. I just turned 63 and wow did I start doing a lot of crazy stuff in my teens. Overall, my brain survived it quite well. But it's kinda freaky for lack of a better word to frequently pause when referring to events and say, "Oh wait, that was xx number of years ago". Could be TV shows, movies, concerts, friends and family events. It's occurred to me the last few weeks being here on 'FMU quite a bit, the chat is filled with grey haired folks,or so I am assuming. And it's awesome to hear the endless music discussions and so on.

apparently NJ has half-fares once you reach 62 (which i did not even realize until well after DUH!) . . . for NYC subways and busses, i got their reduced fare MetroCard after turning 65 . . . for the PATH trains through, you gotta fill out an application, get it notarized, and mail it to them with a photo -- wtf?!? gotta ask one of their customer service people next time i see them, if there is a way of doing this in person, like the "kiosks" that NYC has

I went to Atlantic City right after Labor Day on NJ Transit, the ride there was free because of the fare holiday, and ride back was senior fare. Not bad. Sounds like a hassle for PATH!
