It's a busy time for world music in New York with the Annual Arts Presenters conference (APAP) in town leading to several showcase concerts this week, of which we'll preview Secret Planet, tonight at Drom, and globalFEST tomorrow night at Lincoln Center. And next weekend, the Balkan music and dance enthusiasts' big 60-band bash Golden Fest takes over Astoria world Manor and we'll play tracks by a bunch of the artists playing there.
