	12:14pm Miss Mei: The Raggedy Ann Broadway musical went through many titles in its development; Raggedy Ann: The Musical Adventure, Rag Dolly: The Raggedy Ann Musical, and the most recent, Raggedy Ann: The Musical with a Heart. The book was written by William Gibson with music and lyrics by Joe Raposo. The show first started as a workshop in 1983, and saw its final performance on Broadway in 1986, when it closed after only three days. It features several of Raposo's songs from the 1977 Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure, but the plot was inspired by the legend of Johnny Gruelle making the first Raggedy Ann doll for his dying daughter Marcella. At one point, a workshop recording was created, but there were no official album releases. During its short life, Raggedy Ann saw a brief cultural exchange in Moscow as Rag Dolly, and has since inspired many spinoffs and adaptions by local theaters.

	12:14pm Miss Mei: The Raggedy Ann Broadway musical went through many titles in its development; Raggedy Ann: The Musical Adventure, Rag Dolly: The Raggedy Ann Musical, and the most recent, Raggedy Ann: The Musical with a Heart. The book was written by William Gibson with music and lyrics by Joe Raposo. The show first started as a workshop in 1983, and saw its final performance on Broadway in 1986, when it closed after only three days. It features several of Raposo's songs from the 1977 Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure, but the plot was inspired by the legend of Johnny Gruelle making the first Raggedy Ann doll for his dying daughter Marcella. At one point, a workshop recording was created, but there were no official album releases. During its short life, Raggedy Ann saw a brief cultural exchange in Moscow as Rag Dolly, and has since inspired many spinoffs and adaptions by local theaters.
