I don't blame you. I don't know anyone who was there first hand so I was curious about your thoughts. When I was 13, my stepdad had me near-convinced for 20 minutes, through sheer dead-pannery that Benny Hill was originally from New Orleans and that his original name was Val Marsiglia. The story was he went to the UK in WWII as part of the USO, came up with the Benny Hill persona and stayed. For 20 solid minutes I kept looking at him and saying "Really?" with increasing skepticism, till he finally lost his composure. Always admired him for that one.

You've hit on something, because while hot chocolate is an infrequent treat here, steamed milk is part of every day's "morning" coffee for Kathryn and me, and coffee time in the part of house which houses the espresso paraphernalia also often involves a treat puzzle for Esmé the Dog of the House...

So, the dog hears the steamer and trots in; Kathryn sees her take off and follows a bit behind; and we all have family coffeetime.
