most people we might can think of got very lucky. in some ways. many people lost everything. even ash can kill record collections, etc. yikes.

We had a wildfire near by in Lincoln area wo years ago. We packed up important papers and had in car for 2 days just in case. IF all my records go up, I carry memory sticks with almost all my music and genealogy stuff and videos and such WITH ME always, so I just can grab those at least and get out.
