Indeed. Him calling it what I interpreted as medicinal, was a loud Laphroiag shout for me.

Standing out last night: two of that same distillery, with a very nicely priced 10yr old cask strength batch 17. The more expensive Elements 1.0 also great but too rich for my purse.
A great Kilchoman and a surprising private bottling of Highland Park.

I love the 10 year cask strength Laphroaig! That used to be my staple drink, but they only sell it from the distillery now (it goes fast, and shipping+tariffs add up). There was once a limited edition with the bottle in a plastic tube filled with peat, just in case anyone wondered what Laphroaig is about

Doing sound at my friend’s bar for a decade had me most likely being found with a bottomless tumbler of the stuff. Either that or Basil Hayden along with an ipa. Was always swell and disheartening once I found out how much these items actually cost. lol
