It’s not hate to their greatness…it’s hatred towards their over saturation…

Let’s be honest, the last time you listened to a LZ album all the way through…..

Zeppelin 3. last week.. it sounded great. It's more a folk album than anything. Not unlike what we're hearing today.

Comparing Pentangle and Fairport Convention is interesting from that point of view.

We did a LZ 'A to Z' weekend at a station I worked for - we were all so sick of them & couldn't wait to play something (anything) else - as soon as the last LZ toon ended - the request line lit up - and it was for - you guessed it... "Stairway..." ..

I’m arguing their talent…I just don’t care for the “Get the led Out” radio spots that have ruined my respect

I get it JPJ was a great guy and produced good Artists….but I just can’t tolerate another LZ song….

I don't mind lots of classic rock and the good times therein - it's just the Zep that gets me to cringe every time... Prob stems when I saw them in '69... JThey were still in blues band mode... However, Joe Cocker opened - and there was No Way they could catch the greatness of his set...
