August 29, 2005: A sad passage from this mortal coil.


The life of 19-year-old drummer Colin Biedermann tragically ended on Saturday, August 27th. Colin had performed on this program a number of times, to accompany his proud dad, guitarist Peter Biedermann. Their most recent performance on WFMU was as White Light, joined on trumpet and electronics by Jim Stagnitto on May 2nd. He was enormously talented as a drummer, guitarist and composer. My sincerest condolences go out to his parents, Peter and Johanna, and I dedicate the show to Colin's memory.
