 It's a Berkeley Guitar fest, featuring two of the finest fingerstyle guitarists from California's East Bay. Sean (L) and Matt (R) are featured on two thirds of the Berkeley Guitar album on Tompkins Square, and they each played a live set. Matt Baldwin led off for the duo. |

This greatly talented practitioner of the American Primitive/ John-Fahey-esque school of fingerstyle playing as thrown himself into the abyss of experimentation and managed to soar to the surface. Sean’s tunes unfold gently, becoming unstoppable, trance-like guitar excursions. |
