Live performance by The Pink Delicates

Steeped in the vocal harmonies of the Everly Brothers and traditions of 60's pop music, this four piece started out in 1995 as The Gwens. After releasing several singles and the full length album "DEVIL'S CLIFF" they disbanded and reformed as The Pink Delicates. Gwens' founding member and main songwriter Kevin Neblung (R) is joined by bandmates Tony Marchitelli (guitar), John Fedele (drums), and Mike Santoro (bass). Musically, on their new album "WHO STOLE THE QUIET DAY", the Pink Delicates songs bounce off each other like a great party of influences, incorporating surf to pop to experimental rock.

On May 14, 2007 at 32 minutes into the show, you broke to recap the prior 30 minutes of music. Underneath of your words was an instrumental track. Do you remember the artist and track name for this background track?

Philip:

Never mind the previous question I sent asking about the background track for May 14th. I figured it out. The Kitchen Cynics and 'Drinking with Jack Rose' was the answer.

Irene Trudel:

Hi Phillip!

My apologies for not listing the background music! When I'm mixing a band it gets a little crazy behind the scenes, so I just plain forgot. The track is indeed the Kitchen Cynics' "Drinking with Jack Rose. You can find it on the "Gyroscoping" album. You can find ordering info on the Kitchen Cynics myspace.com page.

Cheers!
