Listener comments!

  8:22pm G:

For anyone who's wondering, the show's dedication isn't an April First thing, like on FMU from 9a to 6p today -- see the obit in the Burlington, VT newspaper --

  8:37pm SF Mike:

It was nice of you to dedicate your show to Lou. 25 years at WFMU!
  8:42pm Chris:

I am bummed by the passing of the Best of WFMU, Lou "the Duck" D'Antonio. He has been missed for 18 years but not like this. Fortunately I have my memories of Gourmet Gus to cheer me up. My thoughts and etc. go out to his family and his many surviving friends at WFMU..
  8:56pm dragonflyshards:

its a hazy memory, but i know of his contribution quite clearly...RIP--may he haunt us for decades,yet....maybe him and the bean, and a few others will have a freeform station in another realm!
  9:08pm daniel:

your bed music is amazing for chairwrestling
  9:09pm daniel:

  9:11pm FoM:

from mark's facebook,

"Mark's 19 year old stoner self would have been mildly shocked that a totally knackered Glenn Branca would someday yell at him to "TURN THAT FUCKING GUITAR UP!!!" multiple times during a show"
  9:20pm june:

Branca. Yes! Live is 10 times better but it does sound great tonight on the radio.
  9:22pm June:

I am having flashbacks with Lesson #1. I even have it on vinyl. Though have I said that it is great live? Been to about 10 Branca concerts and will go again when I can.
