Mon. Jan 13th, 9am - Noon:
Surface Noise Live from Lincoln Center with Special Guest Don Fleming
(More info...)
Tune in on Monday morning, January 13th, for a special remote broadcast of Surface Noise from Lincoln Center's Library of the Performing Arts. Joe and his special guest Don Fleming will be broadcasting live from the Bruno C. Walter Auditorium, playing records they have selected from the Performing Arts library's vast Music and Recorded Archival Sound Collection. Joe and Don have delved deep to fish out rare and interesting music to share, hopefully playing some things not heard before on WFMU.
Yes, especially here in Seattle, it's 3am! I only get up early for your show, my dear. And besides, I have much unpacking to do.
6:12am
Joe:
Ah, Seattle! I hear it's pretty hot out there right now. Stay cool!

Greetings from London, Joe!
As promised last week I've tuned in again to your fab show. What a great start with some killer Brazilian tunes. I love Quarteto em Cy and it's great to hear them on the air. Have a great day and may magic music be with all listeners always!

Joe, thanks a lot for playing the dBs "Neverland".
Aren't their songs wonderful and timeless?
Heard there's a new record of theirs that should (finally) surface at the beginning of 2010. Fingers crossed!
8:19am
Joe:
Sure, Marco, my pleasure! You planted the germ in my mind last week. I'm easily influenced! Check out Holsapple and Stamey on Irwin Chusid's Wednesday program from about a month ago for more info about the new dBs record.
8:23am

Will do, thank you!
But only after your show ends, wanna keep my ears glued to "Surface Noise" now.

Compliments, compliments, everyone's full of such nice compliments today! I'm FEELING like a gutter rat. But in a good way!
