My whole family is still rocking to your premium cd from last year--especially the Thai (?) hip-hop track. My 5 year old daughter goes nuts for that one. Don't worry, I will get my pledge on sometime soon for this year.

the spelling is not so important for the conversation. If you want to know specific sentences, it'll be a pleasure to translate. And then, with all the french songs played on fmu, you'll be able to hear some and practice
@glenn : you are right, people in montreal use a lot of words that we don't.

I have heard it so many times, but since I didn't grow up in the US, I don't know where it's from, I assume it's from some game show?

Just a question : when you buy items from the website, the money still goes to the station (i mean not during the marathon)?

If you are looking for an example of love in this world, it's the dedication, hard work, and yes, money that people contribute to WFMU.

This is not a poke at those other stations - it's just illustrative of how far FMU stretches their fundraising dollars.

It's like a lot of things like this. Unless you're raising money for poor people for necessities, fund raisers are basically for the entertainment of the fund raisers and others. For example, a kiddie football team.
BW:
much love to you all
