how can any singer/mc can synthetise more the west coast sound with this much soul ? The album "music and me" was a sort of revelation to me. i listen to hardcore/post rock/crust/drone you name it, but i can"t help but putting "music and me" on the turntable (a little like the Quincey Jones "back on the block" album).

no doubt pierre. with nate's death the g funk era is officially at a close. the dude made the sound. with out his voice to smooth out all that gangsta shit, the west coast sound would have never crossed to the main stream.
