Are you playing all electronic songs this set (or did you pre-program them :)

I see I just missed Chaka Demus & Pliers -- you should play "Murder She Wrote". The only song from the Save The Last Dance soundtrack that I have and enjoy!

I just downloaded the Dum Dum Girls EP today on iTunes, and realized Singles and EPs can once again be released easily.
But since everything's in digital files, someone should make a "surface noise" app--turn it on and your iPod songs will sound like a record! You could have settings like "first playing", "ambient", "audible", "popping" and "grooveyard"!

Toni's name sounded familiar--besides writing "A Groovy Kind of Love", she sang vocals on "Sugar Sugar" and other Archies song, and was the female backing vocal in "It Hurts To Be In Love" and "You Were Always On My Mind"!

No pop no style, them's strictly roots! Althia and Donna are intriguing, first time I heard them.

So much higher, enthused, less trained! I have both versions, being a completist, but the '77 one you played is the one I LISTEN to!

@tomB: Email that to all those people--justice shall be yours!
I don't know what you'd call Kate's hairstyle in that video, but my Mom had that exact same style around that time!
Brian in UK:
As soon as I saw that you had played Toni Wine; Groovy Kind of Love sprang to mind.

That whole episode of Dec 9 1978 seems great--in addition to 2 Kate Bush appearances, Eric Idle hosted, and the very next item after that video clip was apparently Dan Aykroyd's famous Julia Child kitchen sketch!
