Listener comments!

  6:18pm
Robert:

When you started tonight I assumed you were being ironic, and I thought you were being very clever. Now, unless you're leading on this "addictionologist" like Sacha Cohen, you're making the audience more ignorant.
  6:20pm
Robert:

Deaths are recorded as "opiate-related" if opiates just get a mention at the time of death. Usually it's because the person had a painful condition they may have died from; the drug was just making them hurt less.
  6:21pm
Robert:

Oh, and for future reference, "recovered addicts" like this one are just horrible sources of objective info on the subject.
  6:21pm
Robert:

Oh, yeah, sure, you should just endure pain! Fuck that. Drugs goddamn work -- use them!
  6:22pm
Robert:

Are you taking phone calls?
  6:23pm
Ike:

A pro-opiate commenter? Really? Wow.
  6:24pm
Sean Daily:

So the cure to persistent physical pain is "Cowboy up and stop being such a fucking crybaby?" Jesus Christ...
  6:32pm
Sean Daily:

Having an opiate addiction is a LITTLE different from not eating another slice of pie, dude...
  6:35pm
Ike:

In the world? No, it's worse in China. Srsly.
  6:36pm
Julie (no longer) London:

What?? The "original Casey Anthony?"
  6:42pm
Julie (no longer) London:

man this guy is COLD
  6:44pm
Sean Daily:

Oh for the love of the gods... now he's pining for the good old days of drug addiction...

This guy's a first-class jackoff. First water. The standard by which all other jackoffs should be measured.
  6:45pm
hamburger / london:

I remember seeing this guy interviewed on that John Frusciante documentary 'Stuff'
  6:46pm
Julie (no longer) London:

I love the blanket belief that it's a person's stupid activities that brought on their pain
  6:48pm
Robert:

Darn, if I'd known they were taking calls, I'd've really laid into this Forest. However, I haven't paid much att'n the past half hour so I don't feel in full command of the facts to attack him with.
  6:52pm
Nathan:

Actually the murder rate peaked in the US during the 1930s... love it when folks are in command of the facts.

  6:54pm
Bryan:

yea fuck antibiotics too!
  6:55pm
jeff:

all drugs should be legally available to the market

individual choice
  6:56pm
Robert:

What did you think you would come back to work as after being in an armed service? A hit man?
  6:58pm
Sean Daily:

Oh fuck you, Bob.
  6:58pm
Robert:

Not only is he full of shit, he's trying to make it like everyone else is REALLY full of shit, and he's the one who's not.
  7:00pm
jeff:

jerk off

wasted hour
